Changes in This Release

AtScale I2023.2.0 contains the following changes.

BI tools support​

The following product versions are now supported:

  • Tableau Desktop 2022.4
  • Tableau Cloud (with Tableau Bridge)
  • Power BI Desktop, April 2023
  • Looker 23.8

There is now beta support for the following product versions:

  • Tableau Desktop and Server 2023.1
  • MicroStrategy

The following product versions are no longer supported:

  • Tableau Desktop and Server 2021.4
  • Power BI Desktop, December 2022
  • Looker 22.20

Viewing query plan​

In the query monitor in the Design Center, the Show Query Plan button is now shown only when the corresponding data warehouse supports the EXPLAIN statement.

Improved setting for aggregate maintenance​

AtScale provided the aggregates.maintenance.zeroUtilizationTTLDays setting, which was available on engine and cube level. It is now renamed to aggregates.maintenance.zeroUtilizationTTL, and allows its value to be set from milliseconds to days. For details, see Other Aggregate Settings.
