Rolling Back AtScale

You can rollback an AtScale instance to a previously backed up instance.

Before you begin​

You must have already created at backup of the <AtScale_install_dir> for the instance of AtScale that you wish to restore.

Procedure​

  1. If AtScale is running on the node where you plan to rollback the AtScale instance, stop AtScale completely on the node by running this command:

    <AtScale_install_dir>/bin/atscale_stop

  2. Move or delete the <AtScale_install_dir> directory.

  3. Move or copy the backed up instance to <AtScale_install_dir> and ensure that it is owned by the user ID atscale.

  4. Start up AtScale.

    <AtScale_install_dir>/bin/atscale_start
