Search the Cube Canvas

You can use the cube canvas search to quickly locate datasets, columns, dimensions, or dimension levels by name.

Procedure

1. Press the CTRL + SPACEBAR keyboard keys to open the cube canvas search bar.

2. Type the name of the object you are looking for.

   The search pattern is case-insensitive, and shows matching names that contain the string you entered.

Note: Search currently only searches dataset names, column names, dimension names, or the dimension's key level name. It does not search hierarchy names, level names other than the key, secondary attribute names, measures, or calculated measures.

1. Choose the result you want from the list. The focus of the canvas shifts to bring the selected object into view.
